Robert J. Mrazek Books in Order

Robert J. Mrazek is a prolific author and former Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives, representing the 3rd Congressional District on Long Island for most of the 1980s. A native of Newport, Rhode Island, and a childhood resident of Huntington, New York, he graduated from Cornell University in 1967 before serving in the United States Navy. Elected to the 98th United States Congress in 1982, Mrazek served in the House from 1983 to 1993, championing notable legislation such as the Tongass Timber Reform Act, the Amerasian Homecoming Act, and the National Film Preservation Act of 1988. Since retiring from Congress, he has written extensively, penning ten books, including seven novels: Stonewall's Gold, Unholy Fire, The Deadly Embrace, Valhalla, The Bone Hunters, Dead Man's Bridge, and And the Sparrow Fell. His novels have garnered prestigious awards, including the Michael Shaara Prize for Stonewall's Gold in 2000 and the W.Y. Boyd Prize for Deadly Embrace in 2007.
