Ocean Vuong Books in Order

Ocean Vuong is a critically acclaimed author and poet, celebrated for his thought-provoking and emotionally charged works. His debut novel, On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, was published to widespread acclaim in 2019 and has since been translated into numerous languages worldwide. His poetry collection, Night Sky with Exit Wounds, was a New York Times Top 10 Book of 2016 and won the T.S. Eliot Prize, the Whiting Award, the Thom Gunn Award, and the Forward Prize for Best First Collection. A Ruth Lilly fellow, Vuong has received fellowships from the Lannan Foundation, the Civitella Ranieri Foundation, The Elizabeth George Foundation, The Academy of American Poets, and the Pushcart Prize. His writings have appeared in The Atlantic, The New Yorker, and The New York Times, and he was selected as a 2016 100 Leading Global Thinker by Foreign Policy magazine. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Vuong resides in Northampton, Massachusetts, where he teaches as an Assistant Professor in the MFA Program for Poets and Writers at Umass-Amherst, continuing to shape the literary landscape with his innovative and poignant works.
