Mira Jacob is a critically acclaimed author, illustrator, and educator. Her novel, The Sleepwalker's Guide to Dancing, was a Barnes & Noble Discover New Writers pick, shortlisted for India's Tata First Literature Award, and longlisted for the Brooklyn Literary Eagles Prize. Her writing and drawings have appeared in prominent publications such as The New York Times, Electric Literature, Tin House, Literary Hub, Guernica, Vogue, the Telegraph, and Buzzfeed, where she also contributes to a drawn column on Shondaland. Currently, Jacob serves as the Visiting Professor at The New School and a founding faculty member of the MFA Program at Randolph College. Her unique voice and perspective have been featured in her memoir, Good Talk: A Memoir in Conversations, which showcases her distinctive style as an author and illustrator.
