A renowned poet, she has published critically acclaimed collections, including "Wailing the Dead to Sleep" and "The Hummingbirds," the latter of which won the Eighth Mountain Poetry Prize. Her semi-autobiographical novels, "Lady Moses" and "Hotel Alleluia," have garnered significant attention.
