Jon Hassler Books in Order

Jon Hassler is a celebrated American author, deeply rooted in the Minnesota towns of Staples and Plainview, where he spent his formative years. He graduated from high school in these towns, then went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University in 1955. Hassler continued his education, receiving his Master of Arts degree in English from the University of North Dakota in 1960, while teaching English at three different Minnesota high schools. After transitioning to a collegiate teaching career, he held positions at Bemidji State University, Brainerd Community College, and finally Saint John's, where he became the Writer-in-Residence in 1980. Hassler is a devoted father of three children and has written numerous novels, including several award-winning works that have garnered him widespread recognition. Throughout his life, Hassler has received numerous awards and accolades for his contributions to literature.
