John Barlow Books in Order

John Barlow is a prolific author of prize-winning fiction and non-fiction, with publications spanning multiple continents, including the UK, US, Australia, Russia, Italy, Germany, Spain, and Poland, through esteemed publishers such as HarperCollins/William Morrow, Farrar, Straus & Giroux, and 4th Estate. His work is visually represented by two notable book covers. Barlow's current writing project is the LS9 crime series, a nine-novel series set in the north of England, which follows the life of John Ray, the half-Spanish son of crime boss Antonio 'Tony' Ray. A seasoned author, Barlow has also ventured into ghostwriting and journalism. Born in West Yorkshire, England, in 1967, he has developed a rich background, having worked as a musician, studied English Literature at Cambridge University, and language acquisition at Hull University. He later taught English before moving to Spain to focus on writing full-time, where he resides with his wife Susana and their two sons in the Galician city of A Coruña.
