Heidi Heilig is a multi-faceted storyteller, weaving together music, theatre, and literature to create immersive worlds. Born in Hawaii, she spent her formative years surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultures of the islands, where she developed a deep love for adventure and exploration. Now based in Brooklyn, she continues to draw inspiration from her travels, having haggled for rugs in Morocco, hiked the trails of the Ko'olau Valley, and braved the wilds of Africa. A graduate of New York University's MFA program in Musical Theatre Writing, Heilig has written books and lyrics for various productions, including The Time Travelers Convention, Under Construction, and The Hole. Her unique blend of creativity and passion has earned her a reputation as a talented and innovative writer.
