Glen Duncan is a British author born in 1965 in Bolton, Lancashire, England, to an Anglo-Indian family. A philosopher and literary scholar at heart, he has a strong academic background, having studied at the universities of Lancaster and Exeter. As a bookseller in London from 1990 to 1994, Duncan nurtured his passion for writing, which eventually led to the publication of his debut novel, Hope, to critical acclaim in 1997. His subsequent works, including The Bloodstone Papers and I, Lucifer, showcase his versatility and talent, with the latter's film rights being acquired, featuring an impressive cast including Ewan McGregor, Jude Law, and Daniel Craig.
