Christopher Robin Nicole is a prolific author, born on 7 December 1930 in Georgetown, British Guiana, to Scottish parents Jean Dorothy (Logan) and Jack Nicole, a police officer. He studied at Queen's College in Guyana and Harrison College in Barbados, later becoming a fellow at the Canadian Bankers Association and a clerk for the Royal Bank of Canada. In 1957, he relocated to Guernsey, Channel Islands, where he currently resides, also maintaining a domicile in Spain. Married to Jean Regina Amelia Barnett from 1951 until their divorce in an unknown year, Nicole had four children, Bruce, Jack, Julie, and Ursula. He married Diana Bachmann, a fellow writer, in 1982. As a romantic and passionate historian, Nicole has been publishing since 1957, with his first novel appearing in 1959. His works are set in tumultuous periods, including World War I, World War II, and the Cold War, as well as in various European, Asian, and African locations. He also writes classic romance novels and has specialized in series and sagas. Continuously writing into the 21st century, Nicole signs his books as Christopher Nicole and uses several pseudonyms, including female aliases.
